Daggerwing Nature Center
Boca Raton, Florida: With Earth Day in late April, Saturday April 26 was the perfect time for the grand opening of the 5,000 square–foot addition to the Daggerwing Nature Center in Florida‘s beautiful Boca Raton!
The Nature Center expansion includes a new exhibit hall with live animals and interactive state–of–the–art exhibits, classroom facilities, laboratory, lobby, reading area, and an elevated boardwalk.
In "Life of the Bee", visitors can climb inside a 9' tall bee sculpture, which features a viewing bench, which allows children to watch a video about the life of a bee. The seating area contained within also features a flip up bench to accommodate individuals in wheelchairs.
